If you don’t feel comfortable, you can always call an electrician. But if you’re all up for it, here’s what you have to do.

  • First, you have to find the control board. You can use the manual to locate it. You’ll find the control board under the keypad usually.
  • Then, take a screwdriver and remove the exterior part of the keypad.
  • After that, test the control board with a multimeter. Make sure you don’t use a faulty electric meter display.   
  • Look for any abnormal component. Replace them immediately if you find any abnormal part. 
  • Finally, make sure all the wires and components are placed correctly.
